Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy covers treatment of personally identifiable information collected from users of the online ordering and payment systems for Giving USA, as well as information that we acquire from your institution to offer you online services, if applicable.

This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies Giving USA Foundation, Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, or its vendors do not own or control, or to people who are not employed or managed by these organizations. Vendors involved in direct fulfillment of Giving USA orders include WooThemes (WooCommerce), Mijireh Checkout, and Stripe, Inc..

Information Collection and Use

When you place an order, we ask for your name, title, organization name, position, address, e-mail, telephone number, items ordered, and discount code (if one). This information and the dollar total of the order will be stored on particular software systems, which are accessible only to personnel at the Giving USA Foundation. These software systems include WooCommerce, Mijireh Checkout, and Stripe. Vendors of these products do not have access to your personal information.

To pay for your order, you will be transferred from the Giving USA website to the Mijireh Checkout page. Your payment information (credit card number, billing address, expiration date, etc.) will only be entered on the Mijireh secure site.

None of the information related to your personal data and your payment will be shared with Giving USA Foundation or Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Personnel at these institutions will know only that your credit card transaction was approved or denied so that fulfillment of your order may be completed or so that you can be contacted about payment options should your credit card be declined.

Protection of Your Credit Card Information

Giving USA will use the credit card information collected only to process payment transactions, to facilitate billing, and to otherwise deliver the payment and/or billing services. You will receive from Giving USA the following:
• Electronic copy of payment receipts
• Electronic copy of payment failures

Personally identifiable consumer information is shared with third parties (such as banks and credit card processors) to the extent necessary for to deliver payment and/or billing services. Mijireh Checkout is in full compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Giving USA Foundation reserves the right to contact you by e-mail or postal services when we need to share your information to provide the payment and/or billing service you have requested, to notify you of special offers, or to invite you to re-subscribe to Giving USA products. We will not share your contact information with other organizations, except as provided below:
